THE FINALS ARE ON THE FTP SITE

Check them out on the FTP site (sorry you out there without access...). They look fantastic! Congratulations.
Please be so kind and download the production to your blog as well (for all those without access to the FTP site).
And do me one more favor:
Please make a list of all tools utilized (hand-sketch, cardboard model, CAD tools, et cetera) and send to whofmann@addinc.com
I use that info for research. Thanks.

TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

Please try to keep the .pdf file to under 40MB. If your first pdf print is much larger, try the following:
REDUCE FILE SIZE : Acrobat 4.0 file. It usually reduces the file size by 30%.
If you produced your final sheets in Photoshop reduce your image size to 11 x 17, the resolution to 120.

READY, SET, UPLOAD

By now you should have received an email to your bac email account with logon information to ADD Inc's FTP site. On this site you will find two folders: ERIC'S CLASS and WERNER's CLASS.
Please upload your PDF or PPT file to these folders and stopp by soon to download your classmates'.
If you didn't get an e-mail please contact me: whofmann@addinc.com.

Week 8 - last week before final submission

Following the schedule announced at the end of the fourth week the following elements should be developed: FINAL Plans, FINAL Elevations, FINAL Renderings, FINAL Building Services, FINAL Program and Corrections to your Parti .
As indicated at the intensive, I wasn't planning on a formal final review. However, Eric and I are discussing a conference call sometime after we had time to digest the large amount of work you will be submitting by February 26. The idea for this date is to give you a full weekend to finish the work and plenty of time to post it.
To be able to have the material at our fingertips at the conference call, you should format your final presentation in a PDF or a PPT file. Limit yourself to no more than 20 pages.
I will organize a FTP site for everyone to down and upload each others files to allow for a streamlined call.
The deliverables for the final are available under COURSE DOCUMENTS.
